Shipping Policy

At Distinction Crystals, we're delighted to offer FREE Standard UK Delivery on all orders, along with FREE Standard Worldwide Shipping on international orders over £100.

We carefully select the most suitable delivery service for each order based on the size, weight and destination of your items, using Royal Mail or one of our trusted courier partners.

Processing & Dispatch Times

We always endeavour to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible.

Orders placed before 12:00pm (Monday–Friday) are normally processed the same working day.

Orders placed after 12:00pm (Monday–Thursday) are normally processed the following working day.

Orders placed after 12:00pm on Fridays or during weekends are normally processed the following Monday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Orders placed on a UK Bank Holiday will be processed the next working day.

Whilst we always aim to dispatch orders promptly, occasional delays may occur during particularly busy periods or where additional preparation is required.

UK Delivery

We offer free standard UK delivery on all orders, with no minimum spend.

Please allow approximately 3-4 working days for your order to arrive following dispatch, excluding Bank Holidays.

Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond our control.

International Delivery

We love sending our crystals, minerals and fossils to customers around the world!

We're delighted to offer free standard worldwide shipping on orders over £100.

Please allow up to 21 working days for international delivery, although this may vary depending on your location, local customs procedures and the delivery service used.

We always aim to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible.

Customs & Import Charges

When ordering from outside the UK, your country may apply import duties, taxes or customs handling fees.

These charges are determined by your local customs authorities and are the responsibility of the customer, unless already collected at checkout. Unfortunately, they're outside our control and aren't included in our prices or shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

We recommend checking your country's import requirements before ordering, just to avoid any unexpected surprises.

If any applicable import charges remain unpaid, your parcel may be held by customs, returned to us or, in some circumstances, destroyed by the relevant authorities.

Should a parcel be returned due to unpaid customs charges, any reasonable return shipping or associated costs may be deducted from the refund, where permitted by applicable law.

Where a parcel is destroyed as a direct result of the customer declining or failing to pay correctly assessed import charges, we are unable to offer a refund, except where required by applicable law.

We understand that international shipping and customs procedures can sometimes be confusing, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're always happy to help wherever we can.

Packaging

Whilst Distinction Crystals is a premium brand, we've consciously chosen to prioritise the safe delivery of our products and the reduction of unnecessary packaging waste over elaborate presentation.

Wherever possible, we reuse suitable boxes and protective packaging materials from our incoming supplier shipments, giving these materials a second life rather than allowing them to go to waste.

Every order is carefully packed by our team, with particular attention given to the delicate nature of crystals, minerals and fossils.

This approach allows us to reduce unnecessary packaging waste whilst ensuring your beautiful natural specimens are well protected throughout their journey.

Pallet Deliveries

For particularly large or heavy crystals and mineral specimens, we may arrange delivery through a specialist pallet courier to ensure your order travels safely.

Pallet deliveries can take a little longer to organise than our standard delivery services, so please allow additional time for these arrangements.

If your order requires pallet delivery, we'll contact you directly to discuss the delivery arrangements, expected timescales and any special requirements.
