This is a substantial, entirely hand-carved labradorite specimen sculpted into a unique multi-faceted design from Madagascan labradorite, with strong natural labradorescence across much of the polished face. The piece features a stylised lion face on one side and a distinct human face portrait on the reverse, integrated seamlessly into the natural contours of the stone. Sourced and individually selected by Distinction Crystals for its size, flash coverage, polished finish, overall condition and decorative impact.
This piece has a striking polished finish that reveals beautiful movement, depth and flash. Labradorite is known for its natural optical effect, where internal layers within the stone reflect light and create shifting colour play as the piece is moved or viewed from different angles. The large size and shape makes this an impressive statement piece for the home and / or crystal collection.
