The galena—Aouli’s signature ore mineral—has partially transformed into delicate lead-oxide phases that glow warmly under UV light, hinting at traces of cerussite.
Such a multi-mineral assemblage is highly unusual even for Aouli, where these specimens are typically found separately rather than fused together.
