Native Silver on Calcite Matrix
An exceptional Native Silver on Calcite specimen from the Bou Azzer district of Morocco, individually chosen by Distinction Crystals for its striking natural formation, strong metallic lustre, sculptural structure and beautiful contrast between the silver and white Calcite matrix.
This particular piece displays a wonderfully dimensional formation, with dense branching silver growth, textured crystalline plates and irregular dendritic structures creating impressive depth throughout the specimen. The bright metallic silver contrasts beautifully against the soft white Calcite, with darker recessed areas further defining the natural structure.

Detailed Description
This striking specimen showcases the naturally complex growth habits of Native Silver, forming a dense network of branching metallic structures across and around the contrasting Calcite matrix. The silver develops into textured plates, delicate projections and irregular dendritic formations, giving the specimen an almost sculptural appearance from every angle. Areas of exposed white Calcite provide a dramatic contrast against the reflective silver-grey metallic growth.
Under direct light, the specimen displays strong metallic flashes, while the deeper recessed areas reveal naturally darker tones that further emphasise the intricate structure and dimensionality of the piece.
A distinctive collector’s specimen with excellent visual impact, particularly when displayed under directional lighting or within a mineral cabinet.
Important Information
You will receive the exact specimen shown in the photographs. This is a completely natural mineral specimen. Variations in colour, crystalline growth, inclusions, matrix, surface texture and natural irregularities form part of its geological character and are not considered defects. Colours and metallic reflections may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
