Rare Agatised Crystal Fossil Coral, Known locally as Wiltshire / Tisbury Starstone.
Size: 11 x 10 x 6 cm Weight: 846g you will receive the exact piece pictured. Every piece has been hand worked and polished by ourselves, revealing as much of the beautiful natural detailing as possible, such as the star detailing of the head of the Coral and also the feather detailing. This is a rare stone and the only locality known worldwide for Agatised Coral from the Jurassic Period. This is a very hard stone to work and as such it is mainly only cabochons available on the market, which have often been sent to China or India to be worked.
